NOTE: If you were born in a Portuguese speaking country, you are required by the Angolan Consulate to show proof of health insurance.

Sam’s Passport Inc. is a Licensed and Registered Company with Angolan  Consulate. Applications can only be submitted on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Consulate. All applicants have to appear in person at the Consulate of Angola .

Sam’s passport will make sure all your documents are ready to be submitted prior to your visit to the consulate. One of our staff agents will be at the consulate to greet you and walk you through the steps of getting your visa application submitted and your biometrics completed.

We will FedEx or deliver your passport back to your address as soon as the consulate releases your passport to us.

There are different types of visas for Angola and each has its own requirements, processing time and fees. Please click on the visa type that fits your needs.

Passport

Must be signed and valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay.

NOTE: For Non U.S. Citizens Applicant must submit either notarized Copy of  Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)

Photos

Please provide 2 Good Quality Color Passport-Type photographs with white background. (No glasses, with the applicants face in plain view). The applicant must also be wearing a button-up shirt with a tie. The consulate will only accept actual 2×2 passport type photographs from a reputable source, i.e. Kinko’s, Walgreens, CVS, etc.

Photos printed at home or from an office printer will not be accepted under any circumstances. Photos that are sent in invalid format will be rejected and will cause a delay in submission.

Letter of responsibility

If you are applying for a dependent, please include a Letter of Responsibility from the host stating that they will be responsible for the applicant while in Angola, translated into Portuguese and notarized in the U.S. Within the content of the letter, please include the applicant’s passport information.

Bank statement

A recent copy of the applicant’s bank statement that will show sufficient funds.

Letter of invite

A notarized, written Letter of Invite in Portuguese and English from the contact person in Angola who will be the host of the applicant while in Angola. Within the content of the letter, there should be the full name of the host, his or her full address in Angola and the applicant’s passport information as well their dates of travel.

Please include a copy of the invitee’s passport information page along with a copy of their valid visa.

Letter to abide

A letter written by the applicant stating that he or she will abide by all of the Angolan laws translated into Portuguese, notarized in the U.S. and signed by the applicant.

Proof of travel & Hotel reservation

lease provide a copy of your flight itinerary and a hotel reservation.

Health record

Please provide a Color Copy of the applicants most recent yellow fever vaccination certificates/results.

Letter of authorization

If traveling with a minor, please provide a letter authorizing the consulate to issue the visa and authorizing travel to and from Angola with the traveling parent(s).
