Requirements To Obtain A VISA To Enter Spain

Passport Information

  • Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay

  • Non U.S. Citizens must provide a notarized copy, front and back of a U.S. Green Card or I-94; in order to have a visa processed.
  • Spain is a member of the European Schengen States and requires for all applicants to appear in person at the time of submission and processing, a third party visa service cannot be used to process a visa on the behalf of the client.

Tourist Visa

  • U.S. Citizens do not need a visa for tourist or business to Spain for stays up to 90 days.

  • Passport must be singed & valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay.

  • 1 Visa Application Forms – Link fully completed and signed.

  • 1 Passport-type photographs required.

  • Notarized Copy of U.S. Alien Registration Card (Green Card).

  • Proof of Health and Travel/Accident insurance.

  • If Tourist a copy of your last three months bank statements.

  • Copy of airline tickets or itinerary.

Business Visa

  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay.

  • 4 Visa Application Forms – Link fully completed and signed.

  • 4 Passport-type photographs required

  • Copy of itinerary or air tickets.

  • A business Letter of Guarantee– Link from employer in USA, to attention of "Consulate of Spain, Visa Section", explaining purpose of travel, duties to be performed, and guaranteeing financial support for the traveler, including return transportation to the USA. Letter should be signed by a company officer other than the applicant.

  • Letter of authorization from your company authorizing Sam’s Passport and visa Services to submit and pick up the passport with the visa once it is issued on your employee’s behalf, this letter must be typed on your company’s letter head.

  • Copy of itinerary or air tickets.

  • Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination required for Yellow Fever if Arriving from Infected Area within 5 days

  • APPLICANTS HAVE TO APPLY IN PERSON AT THE NEAREST SPANISH CONSULATE.

U.S. Citizens 19 and under do not require a U.S. Passport if they are traveling outside the U.S. by land or sea.

Processing time for Brazil Visas will now take 7 - 10 working days due to increased applications at the Consulate of Brazil. Please plan accordingly.
