Passport Information

• Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay.


• The original passport must be submitted and should have at least two blank visa pages for processing.


• Non U.S. Citizens must provide a notarized copy, front and back of a U.S. Green card or I-94; in order to have a visa processed.

• All visas issued in New York and Washington D.C. are valid for max 90 days multiple entry.

Tourist Visa

• Passport must be signed and valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay.


• All applicants need to provide a copy of their Driver's License.


• 1 Houston Application - For Regular Processing 7 - 10 working days - Brazil Visa Application form- Link, fully completed and signed.


• 1 Passport-type photograph.


• Copy of your flight itinerary.


• The Visa Request Form - Link, is required for the completion of the visa.

Business Visa

• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay.


• All applicants need to provide a copy of their Driver's License.


• 1 Houston Application 7 - 10 working days - Brazil Visa Application form- Link, fully completed and signed.


• 1 New York Application (Rush Services - 3 to 5 working days) - Brazil Visa Application form - Link, fully completed and signed. (Only valid for max stay of 90 days multiple entry)

• A business Letter of Guarantee – Link is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Consulate of Brazil/Visa Section/ Houston TX. That must clearly explain the purpose of travel; Applicants title; Guarantee financial support for the visit and return transportation; The duration of stay; Name and contact information for a reference in Brazil and their function; Name of organization that business will be conducted with; the letter should be signed by an officer or manager of the company, other than the applicant.

Work Visa

• An original Police Report from the State or County of residence.


• In order to obtain a Work Visa for Brazil, applicants must obtain a Protocol Approval from the Ministry of Labor in Brazil. This approval will be processed through the company you are going to perform services for in Brazil. The Protocol Approval will have to arrive at the local consulate in advance of the processing or issuance of the Work Visa.

A. Yes, your passport must be submitted with the required paperwork and photos in order to obtain a visa for traveling outside the USA. For visa service in Houston, you can drop off your passport at our agency.

All U.S. Citizens who are traveling by air will now be required to carry a U.S. Passport.

Adults over 19 years of age will require a passport if traveling outside the U.S. by car, including Canada and Mexico.

U.S. Citizens 19 and under do not require a U.S. Passport if they are traveling outside the U.S. by land or sea.

Processing time for Brazil Visas will now take 7 - 10 working days due to increased applications at the Consulate of Brazil. Please plan accordingly.

Each applicant must submit a fully completed Passport/Visa Request Form for all services. This form is necessary in order to begin and complete all transactions.
